Dr. Pablo Villoslada has served as Medical Scientific Advisor to TFS since 2012 by providing medical expertise on the design of clinical trials for CNS.

He has participated in internal meetings and discussions with investigators and customer by representing TFS. Additionally, he has given lectures in Multiple Sclerosis disease to customers.

Dr. Villoslada received his MD at the University of Santiago de Compostela (Spain) in 1990. He completed his speciality in neurology in 1995 at the Hospital Vall d’Hebron (Spain) and his PhD in Neuroimmunology in 1996 at the Autonomous University of Barcelona (Spain). He moved to the University of California, San Francisco (USA) as a postdoctoral fellow returning to Barcelona in 1998 where he worked as Assistant Professor of the University of Navarra from 2001 to 2008.

He is currently Group leader of the Neuroimmunology group of the Institute of Biomedical Research Augist Pi Sunyer – Hospital Clinic of Barcelona, Spain, a member of the Advisory Board of the International Society of Neuroimmunology and reviewer for several journals such as Annals of Neurology, Journal of Neuroimmunology, Brain or Multiple Sclerosis. Also he is founder and scientific advisor in Bionure SL, a spin-off of the Hospital Clinic of Barcelona dedicated to the development of neuroprotective therapies for MS.

Dr Villoslada has been active in  Multiple Sclerosis research for more than 10 years contributing to the application of systems biology to neurological diseases, development of new therapies or biomarkers for Multiple Sclerosis and clinical research assessment of the retinal nerve fiber layer with optic coherence tomography and cognition in Multiple Sclerosis. He has published more than 90 papers in top journals in the field of neurology (Ann Neurol, Neurology, Arch Neurol, Brain, etc.) and nine patents in biomarkers and new therapies for brain diseases. He has also obtained - three3 EU grants and several others from the Government of Spain and foundations.
