Jessica Wessel is a clinical operations leader with deep expertise in clinical trial development, operational strategy, and cross-sector collaboration. As Senior Program Director at TFS HealthSciences, she oversees global clinical delivery efforts with a focus on study quality, team performance, and accelerating access to innovative therapies.
With more than a decade of experience spanning academia, biotech, non-profit, large pharma, and global CRO environments, Jessica brings hands-on expertise across all trial phases and study types, including medicinal products, medical devices, advanced therapeutics, and non-interventional research. Her therapeutic background includes Ophthalmology, Neurology, Endocrinology, and Immunology, where she has successfully managed and provided oversight for diverse, complex studies.
Before joining TFS, Jessica held progressive roles as a Research Coordinator, Therapeutic Expert, Clinical Scientist, and Director of Clinical Operations, giving her a unique, multi-perspective view of the drug development lifecycle. She is also an experienced leader in the professional research community, serving as immediate past local chapter president for the Cincinnati Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP), an active member of the Foundation for Fighting Blindness (Cincinnati/Kentucky Chapter), and a volunteer for the Cincinnati Association for the Blind.
Jessica holds certifications in clinical research, project management, and ophthalmology. She is passionate about advancing new and existing treatments while mentoring teams to deliver impactful, patient-centered clinical research.
