At TFS HealthScience, we believe in making a difference beyond the clinical trials that drive our industry forward. As a global contract research organization (CRO), our role in clinical research is pivotal to advancing medicine, but we also recognize that true progress involves supporting the global community and creating lasting positive change for current and future generations.  

Over the course of 2024, our philanthropic efforts have been a testament to our commitment to improving the health and well-being of people everywhere. This year, we’ve proudly supported a variety of charities, organizations, and industry events, contributing a total of €10,000 to causes that align with our values and dedicating our time and efforts to making a meaningful difference.  

2024 Philanthropic Contributions: A Year of Giving 

From supporting cancer research to aiding those affected by neurological conditions, each of our donations was made to an organization dedicated to improving lives and advancing research. Key industry events and partnerships provided a valuable platform for us to not only connect with leaders and innovators in healthcare, but also raise awareness about the important work of these organizations—offering others the opportunity to contribute.  

Driving Impact Through Community Partnerships 

Our initiative, TFS Together for Inclusive Innovation, supported organizations focused on inclusivity and advancing healthcare access for underserved communities. Notably, this partnership allowed us to contribute €2,040 to Unseco, an organization dedicated to improving education and healthcare in remote regions. 

In our ongoing support for cancer research, including significant contributions to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Breast Cancer Research Foundation, and other cancer-focused organizations, we have helped fund critical research tackling some of the most devasting and challenging health conditions globally, bringing us closer to effective treatments and cures. 

Employee Engagement: Making a Local Impact 

At TFS, philanthropy is not just about financial contributions; it’s also about fostering a culture of giving back. Throughout 2024, our employees have been actively engaged in local initiatives, from volunteering their time to supporting health and wellness programs in their communities. Their involvement in charity runs, hosting awareness events, and providing direct support to those in need has helped create an environment where people feel inspired and proud to support the causes we believe in—making a positive impact both locally and globally. 

Sustainability in Clinical Research: A Holistic Approach to Lasting Impact 

Alongside our charitable donations, TFS has also made significant strides in promoting sustainability within clinical research. As global sustainability challenges intensify, we remain committed to reducing our environmental footprint, strengthening governance structures, and maximizing social impact—ultimately working toward healthier people and a thriving planet. This includes improving its Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) score, demonstrating our dedication to transparency and accountability. Additionally, TFS made a commitment to Science-Based Targets initiative (SBTi) in 2023. This level of openness not only strengthens our reputation for integrity but also ensures stakeholders can trust our practices and values.
