Dr. Jonathan Krant, MD, MPH, FACP

Dr. Jonathan Krant is a board-certified expert in internal medicine and rheumatology, and an internationally recognized leader in immunology with more than 30 years of experience integrating clinical research, patient care, and therapeutic development. He has held leadership roles across hospital systems and the biopharmaceutical industry, directing global clinical research and medical affairs programs focused on autoimmune and inflammatory diseases, including rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, and metabolic bone disease.

As Vice President of Clinical Research at Zalicus and Medical Director at UCB Pharma, Dr. Krant led the development of novel therapeutics and regulatory strategy for global trials. He was instrumental in responding to the FDA’s class hold on anti-NGF therapies, enabling advancement of tanezumab (Pfizer/Lilly). In parallel, he served as Chairman of Medicine at Adirondack Health and as Medical Director at the Global Healthy Living Foundation, where he helped secure a $3M PCORI grant to define patient-centered metrics in RA care.

Dr. Krant earned his MD from the University of Massachusetts Medical School and an MPH from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. He completed postgraduate training at Yale, UCSF, and Dartmouth, and holds board certifications from the American Board of Internal Medicine in both internal medicine and rheumatology. He has authored over 20 publications and currently leads clinical research and rheumatology programs in both Ohio and New Hampshire.
