Cellulite

Back to Glossary

Cellulite

Cellulite is a common and harmless skin condition characterized by a dimpled or lumpy appearance, typically on the thighs, hips, buttocks, and abdomen, caused by fat deposits pushing through the connective tissue beneath the skin. Factors such as genetics, hormones, and lifestyle influence its development, and while treatments are available, cellulite is a normal variation of skin texture.
