Gynecology is the branch of medicine that focuses on the health of the female reproductive system, including the uterus, ovaries, fallopian tubes, and vagina. Gynecologists diagnose and treat conditions such as menstrual disorders, endometriosis, infertility, and gynecologic cancers. They also provide preventive care, including Pap smears, contraception, and menopausal management.
