Back to Glossary

Hypoglycemia

Hypoglycemia is a condition where blood sugar (glucose) levels drop too low, usually below 70 mg/dL. Symptoms include shaking, sweating, confusion, and dizziness. Severe hypoglycemia can lead to loss of consciousness or seizures. It is often managed by consuming fast-acting carbohydrates and adjusting medications or dietary habits.
