Magnetic Resonance Imaging

Back to Glossary

Magnetic Resonance Imaging

Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) is a non-invasive imaging technique that uses strong magnetic fields and radio waves to produce detailed images of the body’s internal structures. MRI is used to diagnose a wide range of conditions, including brain disorders, spinal cord injuries, joint abnormalities, and tumors. It provides high-resolution images without the use of ionizing radiation.
