A patient-reported outcome (PRO) is any report of a patient’s health status that comes directly from the patient, without interpretation by a clinician or anyone else. PROs are typically collected via structured questionnaires or digital tools and can capture information about symptoms, functional status, quality of life, treatment satisfaction, or overall well-being.
