Randomization

Back to Glossary

Randomization

Randomization is a process used in clinical trials to assign participants to different treatment groups in a way that minimizes bias. It ensures that each participant has an equal chance of receiving any of the treatments being tested, helping to balance known and unknown factors that could affect the study’s outcomes. Randomization enhances the reliability and validity of the trial results.
