Spider Veins

Back to Glossary

Spider Veins

Spider veins are small, dilated blood vessels that appear close to the surface of the skin, typically on the legs and face. They are usually red, blue, or purple and have a web-like appearance. Spider veins are generally harmless but can be treated for cosmetic reasons using sclerotherapy, laser therapy, or other techniques.
